
“We know which areas we want to add to the squad,” he said.
“Obviously if the scan comes back and it’s really bad, there might be a slight change of thought process.
“But in the main we are sticking to how we set out in the summer in terms of how we want the squad to be.”
Targetman Moore’s injury was all the more disappointing because he had produced an influential display on Wrexham’s return to the second tier, the former Cardiff City player winning the penalty which had the Red Dragons on course for victory until Southampton’s dramatic late comeback.
“I thought he was excellent,” Parkinson added.
“He was a bit low on his minutes going into the game, but I thought his all-round performance was very good.
“He got the penalty, he was a real handful, his hold-up play was good. We have just got to hope he is OK.”
